Yep, my toes are freezing.
It’s getting icy in Australia now, but not quite as icy as my recent trip to the Canadian Arctic to investigate a story on climate change for current affairs program Sunday Night (Channel 7 Australia).
An experience of a lifetime, I travelled there to research a story on global warming – to watch the video or read more about this incredible experience see my diary entry and the Sunday Night page of this website. Other stories include a conservation report on magnificent Lake Eyre and me running away to join the circus with Cirque Du Soleil.
While in the Arctic I learned to build the ultimate winter outdoor room, an igloo! As for those of you lucky enough to be in the Northern hemisphere at the moment (I’m looking forward to thawing out and spending part of the southern winter in northern summer myself!) see my Summer Inspiration tips in the Your Outdoor Room section for making the most of your outdoor room this summer.
